That game with CSD ought to be a good one.

I was hoping they would play Bunker Hill.

Ole well…it’s a good game for the jackets.

That 4th week is usually a bye week for the CVAC….that just might be where I end up…over at CSD…..depending on who or if the local teams are playing that week.

This is definitely an improved schedule compared to the last couple of years. Our current coach I guess had to play the schedules left by the previous coach. I figured we might play Walkertown eventually since their head coach is a Forest Hills Alum.

I believe our bye week will fall on week 2 this year...something screwy happened with some opponents switching weeks.

Walkertown should be pretty good. They have a division one qb.

Likewise CSD has excellent coaching and a QB who can put it on the money, even in heavy rain. They'll scheme you to death.

FH has a rising senior QB who's also being heavily recruited by D-1 teams. He got injured in the Monroe game last year and missed the Shelby playoff game. Seems like he's at different school every weekend being recruited by someone. Also a 3 star rising junior WR returns who was already given a full scholarship by a couple schools including NC State during his sophomore year. FH only lost 5 seniors from last year. So hopefully we'll be better with experience and several returning from injuries in the last couple of games from last season. Last years team was very young.
