I think anyone who watched the 2A championship games would note that Shelby is better than East Lincoln. Really wish the playoffs weren't watered down so we could see who truly is the best in 2A.

yes there should only be 1 state champion in each diivsion. making the playoffs doesnt mean anything these days. 1st and 2nd round are for the pretenders

Currently it is the 64 teams that qualify for the playoffs from a classification regardless of enrollment. They are then split into sub-classes using by the ADMs.

If they went to a set 8 classes that would be done before the season or with a realignment. That would change what teams actually made the playoffs but more so it would alter where teams are slotted or classed.
