Want to take a guess who that 1 loss was to in 2011?

Technically, Fairmont is 5-2. Their loss to Northside ended up being a win due to Northside forfeiting their first four games because of an ineligible player.

Not trying to discount you Lonnie, someone else posted that Fairmont was 4-3, but they quickly deleted their post after they realized they were wrong. Just trying to give everyone clarity on Fairmont's record that thought otherwise.

It was me, right after I posted it I remembered Northside had to forfeit their game.

That's good stuff there swett, you put some time into those stats. The stats are right around what I figured they would be. They sound pretty much like the stats probably were after the SC and Fairmont game last year. Stallions had a bunch of rushing yards and very few passing yards, while Fairmont had a bunch of passing yards and a lot less rushing yards. Probably be about the same this year, IMHO.

If you read my earlier posts, I have said that South will have to improve drastically on offense to contend for the conference title. You have to be able to score to play with Fairmont, Red Springs and Whiteville. I agree with you and JD but I think SC has the ability to do just that, we will see.

Lol, just having a little fun. Nothing like a good football game and we both want our team to win and there is nothing wrong with that. I try not to get "dirty" on these threads. I hope it's a packed house as well, this should be one of the better games of the year and the kids deserve a big crowd. Go Stallions!!

Stallions and stallion supporters apparently just need to stay home.... If you're gonna get a W against SC you better do it this year

The most important question concerning Friday night is.......................Where's a good place to eat in Fairmont?

What kind of cuisine do you desire, T.C. Devils Eighty Six ? Fairmont used to be internationally known as Paris of the South in the late fifties and early sixites , with its intoxicating Spanish Moss huts that some of the more creative tourists carved out strand by stand, or would you care for some French Toast with encrusted local honey, or if Hispanic dining clicks your fancy, we'll be able to suit almost your every need. If steak is your appetite du jour, you may journey off the path and check out Pedro's Y HoeZay's Steak Joint, strategically located outside of the downtown area about five miles. Bon Appetit.

Dan man we eat at folks in road. LM place. Didn't know Fairmont had such great places.
