Former Charlotte Catholic HS RB Elijah Hood is the starting RB for the Los Angeles Wildcats of the XFL league.

Solid as lead back in loss
February 8, 2020
Hood rushed 12 times for 43 yards and was not targeted in the passing game during the Wildcats' 37-17 loss to the Roughnecks on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Hood had been named the starting running back earlier in the week, and accordingly, he had a clear lead in rushing touches over backfield mates Larry Rose (three carries) and DuJuan Harris (two carries). Hood had one impressive 13-yard run that served as his longest scamper of the afternoon, but he was otherwise mostly bottled up by an aggressive Houston front seven to the tune of 11 carries for 30 yards. Nevertheless, Hood showed a willingness to run hard under less-than-ideal conditions, as he was playing with a first-time starter at the professional level under center that didn't necessarily discourage eight-man fronts. Hood will look to up his production across the board and perhaps get involved in the passing game during a Week 2 matchup against the Renegades a week from Sunday.

He could’ve had a bigger impact I feel if LA didn’t fall behind. Making everyone at CC proud!
