Even though Edenton has dropped down to 1A, should be another great game between these rivals. Both are undefeated. Both have been putting up a ton of points. Lots of talent on both teams. What are your keys to the game for each team?

For Edenton simply stop J.R. Walker,Freshwateran,and Walton who's related to the former pro QB Johnny Walton from Elizabeth City State University and for Northeastern to stop Keimon Bailey,Spruill,Capehart,Phelps,and a couple of other good RB's and the Aces swamming defensive front seven quicker than last year defense.
Well they controlled Hall last year when he was at Perquiman and I saw him play in the HSOT in Raleigh. Shaw is good and they had Shaw and Golden last year and the Aces still beat them in the third round of the playoff on their field. Going to be a good game though.
U can't even compare Perquimans line with N.E. Hall had zero blocking in that game but good luck stopping him tonight
All i'm saying they are use to playing bigger teams and they have played against some decent QB's this season. every QB's is good if he has time to pass and don't have to move in the pocket.
I am going to have to respectfully disagree. The game I attended the score was 27-13 mid 3Q and 34-20 with about three minutes left in the game with Aces driving in NE territory and NE comes up big on defense and stops the Aces on downs. Walker then scores a long TD with around minute left for the final margin.
Edenton had two turnovers that led to Northeastern TDs. Edenton also had two pass interference calls against them that were ridiculous. Both calls kept momentum going for Northeastern. Even w/o the turnovers and the help of the refs, I think Northeastern still would have won. The Eagles are a bigger, faster, deeper team than Edenton. But the game would have been much closer. Proud of the Aces for playing a clean game w/ no personal fouls or unsportsmanlike conduct calls. Can't say the same for the Eagles who had 4 personal fouls, including a chop block on a kickoff to the Aces at the very end of the game with the Eagles up 41-20. Totally uncalled for. Aces player was injured due to a low class cheap shot.
I know You EDENTON fans are not up here crying about no calls...if not for all the penalties against the Eagles, you would have been shut out...several contraversial calls kept the Aces in the game... Aces weak passing game got exposed all game... Game wasn't even as close as final score shows...
I don't know what game you were watching. Those two pass interference call against the Aces was ridiculous and the call that should have been a penalty wasn't call. Home field advantage most certainly went the Eagles way on close call. The Aces have nothing to be a shame of they didn't get dominated by Northeastern actually they slowed down their passing game compared to the other teams Northeastern has beaten. Bailey did get 181 rushing yards on 21 carries and with the Aces playing with a RB at QB instead of running beside Bailey in the back field they did Ok and if those two questionable interference call didn't go against them who knows what the out come would have been.
Did Northeastern play for a state championship last season of did the Aces knock them out of the playoff and played for the state championship? Thanks.
They should win a state championship this year right my man since they are loaded with talent and well coached?
Let's not brag about your trip to the finals last year....especially since we all know the out come of that showing... Cry me a river with that bs about some pass interference calls...penalties call against the Eagles triple that of the ones called against the Aces...That Eagles offense pushed up and down the field at will, all the while Aces had a few long touchdowns... Dont forget you scored on your first drive, and how long it took to score again. Eagles silenced that Aces crowd early , then sent you down 17 North ...quiet
The Eagles will rep the East in the State Championship this year...I see them back to back finalist...only gets better next year..
