Wallace-Rose Hill 34 SWO 14......Southwest continues its murderers row non-conference schedule before cupcake city conference play starts. WRH woke up second half in JK game and I expect it to continue this week.

Goldsboro 27 Eastern Wayne 12......Much like last year, the Cougars destroyed Hobbton and will find the going a little tougher this week. Still think the Cougars take it.

Jacksonville 28 East Duplin 14.......One can hope its as good as it was last year but I don't see it. Jville is very explosive on offense and everyone back on defense. ED beat Richlands soundly, but this is another animal. Might be closer if the ED offense can play ball control and keep the Jville offense off the field.

Clinton 20 East Bladen 0....I saw EB at a scrimmage and was not impressed. I think Clinton gets the shutout and their running game will be too strong.

James Kenan 34 Southern Wayne 6....JK will score some points this season. Just don't think SW has anything close to what JK has.

Spring Creek 27 Lejeune 6.....The marines are looking for a few good men, unfortunately these aint it. SC gets a win and it might be the only one they get this season.

Princeton 30 Midway 15....Midway gets halfway to Princeton.

I know the age old saying of "defense wins championships" but if our offense doesnt open up its going to be a long season.....WRH and ED are still top tier and it seems like JK and Goldsboro are improving.......Former Clinton player Terrell Valentine had a 100 yard receiving night for Goldsboro we definitely could of used those hands last Friday....in the scrimmages and 1 regular season game i have watched so far i seen us complete 2 passes

I noticed that Simmons predictions had Jack/EDuplin as even with slight edge to Jack. Had Wallace favored by 18 over swo but i believe it will be even more.
