I was thinking that too with Midway and Hobbton but new coaches have seemed to breathe some life into these programs i was impressed with the progress of both Friday Night....i still have Midway finishing next to last with Spring Creek but they are indeed improved from a season ago

East Duplin 28 Richlands 12......ED not the same team this year. Offense not nearly as explosive and the defense lost everyone. Will improve as the season goes along but expect some growing pains early on.

Wallace RH 45 James Kenan 14.....JK says they are going to throw it all over the field. If they don't complete many, this one gets ugly fast. WRH too many athletes, too explosive and just better again this year.

Cape Fear 21 Clinton 7......Im not drinking the Kool-Aid. Changes in philosophy are difficult and this is a tough opener for Clinton. Staff gets off to a tough start and the natives get restless quick.

Goldsboro 48 Hobbton 15.....Watch the Cougars this year. Best player in the conference returns along with other key players. Hobbton says they are going to throw it also. A lot of 3 and outs aint good.

Union 16 Midway 14....No clue why.

Spring Creek 20 North Duplin 14....Upset special.

Kool-aid??? Dont think anyone predicting a State title but as someone who watched every game last season and watched them so far this year they are ahead atleast defensively guess we will find out tomorrow.....but everyone is welcomed to their opinion

They are ahead based on scrimmaging Sampson County? I bet same thing was said last year after the jamboree.

Again, just an opinion. It will be very interesting if team gets off to same kind of start as last year. Lewis could afford such a start and withstand it. No way this staff gets a pass given all the drama I have seen on here during the summer.

Yeah most believe it will be similar to last year low scoring defensive affair last year it was 13-7.....Fay observer has it 17-14 CF....im going 14-10 Clinton.

I was being pretty generous when i said WRH 42 JK 21......It could be JK 21 WRH whatever Coach Mott wants it to be...atleast we have a shot at winning our game......i would not place any bet on JK beating Wallace
