Since no one wants to start a thread on this, suppose I will.

Albemarle Bull Puppies will come out the gate fired up, but can they maintain that energy? I hope so.

I know a lot of students come on these boards and read these post's, I'm not sure if any Albemarle kids do, but I know the coaches do. I just hope they had a good week at practice and we can switch up that direct snap wildcat and start playing some real football. But not only is that on the coach to have his team ready, it is also up to the players to learn and buy into the schema that the coach is trying to implement. We all know that most of those kids wouldn't be starters let alone on a varsity team besides maybe 1 or 2, but I hope those kids start turning those gears with this being the 4th game of the season.

I myself isn't looking for a win, I'm looking for competiveness. It's one thing to loose, and it's another thing to get your ass kicked, those are two different types of loses.

I believe East Montgomery will run the score up.

East Montgomery 65 Albemarle 0

I remember going to their place several years ago (Early 2000's) I believe. After we beat them, they ran off the field, and straight to the field house refusing to shake hands.

What was the score dog?

This young Albemarle just can't compete against the better varsity teams. Big test will come next week when we go to Chatham Central....

Coach Hammer will not run score up 8 quarter guys will get a lot of playing time just hope Mckinney gets enough reps to stay on his 237 yards per game average

Considering that Jackson averaged 20 yards per carry against us, for 171 yards and 3 tds. I am thinking EM will "run wild." The amazing thing about our WS score was that we won the time of possession by almost 10 minutes and still got beat 58-0. Whatever excuse someone can bring to the table is ridiculous. Here is the facts. After only 4 games, we officially have the worst AHS football team in 54 years. Fact 2, the kids aren't buying what Mason is selling. Its hard compete when the kids refuse to play for a coach. AHS has been young before and been through plenty of adversity in that a lotted time of 54 years. The bottom line is that there is NO excuse for expecting to get beat by 60+ against WS, let a lone EM. Call me negative but I predicted an upset win over Thomasville in week 1, only to be embarrassed ever since. We need to quit giving out participation trophies and participation excuses. I would love to be proven wrong and I will eat my crow in a heart beat if I am, but we are heading down the wrong path fast! In my eyes, from what I saw on Monday, our only win will be if we can finish the season.

The score Friday will be EM-60+ as many as Hammer decides to score with running clock midway through the second quarter, AHS-0

Gotta pad the stats do we? Hope he doesn't get hurt in what appears to be a meaningless game.

I'm proud of Albemarle and I'm proud of East Montgomery for having Good Sportsmanship. McKinney is a heck of a Player. I still don't understand Our non extra points. Explain that to Someone who would prefer to see 14 instead of 12. Those are always chip shots

Guys I want to mention something. One of the board Members got hit pretty hard last week for making a comment. Take this from a long time Albemarle Fan. When You are down and You don't Question things then You are out in space Somewhere. The Players are Young ( easy to understand) but the fundamentals of Football have been around since the turn of the Century

Chatting with one of the coaches this morning. We were down to our 3rd string tailback and 2nd string fullback last night. The injury bug is alive and well.
