Well let me see.A number 2 seed playing a 12 seed. Based on the seeding the higher seed might as well pack there bags. Wonder what happened to the 1 seed. Oh well we will see Friday Night.
I disagree. WRH is the defending 2A East Regional champs. WRH is the man. ED can be the man with the win. Granted, ED has won five out of the last seven times they have played but WRH won the playoff game last year in the 3rd round. Everyone knew the winner of that game was going to represent the east. This game is huge. The team that can best control their emotions is the one that will win the game. I will say that the Clinton game may have served as a wake up call for ED. Most teams that get down 14 points to a team that has multiple D1 prospects with nothing working on offense would fold. ED will not quit. I know that WRH will not quit either. This game will be a knock down, drag out fight.
Yes sir you right but this game I think could be more pressure on ED. ED is definitely battle tested
ED has definitely been through some battles. I don't think they are under any pressure though. I saw a quote by former Steelers coach Chuck Noll. He said "Pressure is something you feel when you don't know what you are doing." Both teams will probably experience some nervousness because of the magnitude of the game, but they both know what they are doing. Each team does what it does, and they both do it well. We are very fortunate to have high schools that are rich in football tradition in Duplin County. ED may not have the football championships yet like the other county high schools (even North Duplin got one), but this year's team definitely can do it. Win or lose, the state of North Carolina is going to know that we have some great football teams in Duplin County year in and year out.
