East Duplin 14 Wallace-Rose Hill 12

The score is not really indicative of how one sided this game was. East Duplin had 23 first downs to just 5 for the Bulldogs. ED rolled up 310 yards on the ground and 358 overall. Wallace managed just 188 total yards. 126 of those came on two busted plays. The rest of the time Wallace could only muster 46 yards on 24 offensive plays.

The ED defense was truly lights out Friday night.

i agree 100% WRH is very good, but i think for the most part we are slightly better across the board. like you said, our defense was stellar, and our offense drove it down WRH's throat all game, with them having no defensive answer to slow it down. with us missing two field goals, and having missed a few opportunities for TD's in the redzone, the score very easily could have, and many would say should have been more lopsided. after playing lights out in the first half, our starting QB barely played the second half. if he would have i definitely think we would have scored at least a couple more TD's. that being said our backup came in and played well. overall great performance for us! thats about as polished as i have seen us look on both sides of the ball in a very long time. maybe ever!

I wasn't at the game but you say ED drove it down WRH's throat all game with WRH having no answer but ED scored opnly 14 points all in the 1st qtr. How is that?

because we were very inefficient in the redzone, thats why. are you trying to imply that a team cant move the ball well all game without actually scoring a lot of points? i hope not because they can. check the stats and you will see what im talking about. unlike many of you up here, if i post something, i almost always have stats to back it up. maybe you still have a little to learn about football. :)

We missed at least 2 field goals, HELLO there's another 6 pts. Also I think we were on wrhs 12 yard line but chosen to be a good sport and kneel it a couple of times. Make no mistake ED is for real and everyone should take note, on a mission.

Doesn't really matter how many games one has been too. The numbers don't lie and anyone at the game will tell you that ED ran it down their throat all night just as someone said earlier. The Horses will get their turn with the Panthers and the Bulldogs.

Putting my fanhood aside and being realistic we wont beat Wallace or ED this year....i can see us putting up a good fight against Wallace since its such a heated rivalry but we will fade late....the East Duplin game probably wont even be close....gotta be realistic fellas we have not shown any consistency in stopping power running teams like ED and Wallace amd we continue to make silly mistakes ......ill gladly eat my words if im wrong

i dont know. you guys always seem to play well agaist us. do you really think our game wont be close? i think it may be a little closer than you think. i will say this though. i already knew we had a very strong team, but the ease at which we ran the ball against WRH at times let me know that we do indeed have one of the best power running games in the state. like i told someone earlier this year, we have a stable of backs that can get it done. you cant key on one guy. and then you add in our QB which is a great runner too, and it will be hard to stop our running game.

Hear is what I know... East Duplin Panthers are a excellent football team.POINT BLANK PERIOD! WHOEVER PLAYS THEM HAD BETTER PLAY THEIR BEST GAME OR THEY WILL GET BEAT!

Our defense is more equipped to stop spread teams like Southern Lee and JK....i watched East Bladen march down the field on us multiple times with ease.....I haven’t seen East Duplin in person this season but i assume its the usually probably huge on the lines....Clinton’s a lil light in the a$$ on the lines this year....i see yall controlling the lines....we may get a play here and there but just dont see us competing for 4 quarters against yall not this year....we still have room for improvement and i mean who knows what could happen any given Friday night right.....but in all honesty i dont see us beating yall period i have no problem admitting im wrong if i am........we will sneak into the playoffs hopefully at 5-5 maybe ruin somebody’s party in the 1st round
