East Burke @ West Stokes

East Burke on a roll for first time in years. RB Clark has more heart an push than most rbs his size an will hopefully do some damage.Don't know anything about West Stokes or were they are even located other than the western side of Stokes county.

Thoughts an predictions??

Has EB QB broke some passing records this year? I know their passing was terrible against KM an if just 3/4 of em' connected it would have been at least a lil more respectable game.

Oh hey whats going on with ya Mr Lincolnton. Hadn't posted with you or the other Lincoln co faithful in a long time. Prob because nothing much to talk about with North Lincoln as they seem to be on the verge of a losing skid from here on out until they get some kids out, stuff figured out, and out of the 3A realm.

Thanks for the best wishes Lincolnton, we sure need all we can this friday. Would have loved to see a EB/Lincolnton or East Lincoln match up sometime. Not sure if Lincolnton has every played EB and East has only played them once in 93' when coach Beam was a Jr. on that team. The Cavs won a thriller by 2 points that night. Only 3 wins that year and that being one of them. I hope the best for EB this year cause after this season its looking grim for them just like with North Lincoln.

You guys be sure to pull for us in this one, send some good vibes our way. Since your on, I meant to ask ya whats going on with Jay-Mo over there at North?? Seems like thats the best thing they had going in the running back position since Kenny Raymer and then has some injuries and then gets in trouble. Also from my understanding he was D1 prospect at the beginning of season. Doesn't look that way now, prob dropped his stock way down just like Pollard at South Caldwell(D1 looks, gets hurt, out for season, goes to Prespertryain college, doesn't even start or make impacts there even)

Burkeforreal, Thompson played very little against Lincolnton. I don't know if he got injured or if he might have been already injured. I haven't heard much from him, this season. I got a feeling it might have something to do with injuries. He is a really good running back.

All the best to the Cavaliers, Friday. Last week, EB got some attention and turned some heads when they defeated Forest Hills, a team with a good tradition. The Simmons ratings had FH picked to win by ten points.

I think what was NOT noticed about East Burke was the brutal schedule they played, Shelby, Crest, Freedom, Kings Mountain, Hibriten. Give me a break, and like him or not, they have a coach that is a game changer. I couldn't imagine them doing this but if West Stokes looks past them, it could end their season.

They should have beat Hibriten. HiB is not as good as they usually are but did seem to throw an upset on East Gaston an with them playing Saint Stephens Friday we could see a 3rd round in them. Glad to see Saint having a winning season. Doesn't happen there, like few n far between

Yeah pretty good fan support. Not sure bout an hr n 45 min drive how much of a support they would have. I'll be there though. Better get a good view of EB now cause this success is an will be short lived. Hope I'm wrong but it's just the way it is

Coach Tom Brown is coaching his 500th high school game tonight, most of them while at Maiden High School, and believe me he will have those Cavaliers ready to whoop somebody come game time.This game will be close if East Burke wins the turnover battle.
