East Bladen vs Midway updates

Final, 20-6 Eagles. Very sloppy offensive performance by EB. Threw an interception in the end-zone before the half and have turned it over on downs twice in the redzone. And one fumble. Eian Hines was injured in the first half and did not play the rest of the game. Hopefully it's not serious, think it may have been the ankle, but not sure. EB played a very good defensive game, especially in the second half. They were in Midway's backfield consistently.

Cornerback Kyle Tatum stepped in and replaced Eian Hines in the backfield. He ran the ball really well in the second half.

After what I seen tonight Clinton 28 EB 14
Game tonight was very physical

I have to disagree still think Clinton vs EB will be a close game...the Hines injury hurts EB if he can't go but they still have another Hines to carry to load plus other guys stepped in too.......Maybe Midway is tougher than we thought

Eagles should've had a couple more TD's. Can't have those redzone turnovers against Clinton. Because unlike Midway, the Darkhorses will capitalize on those mistakes.

Eagles held Midway to 69 yards of offense for the game. And I'm pretty sure EB had 4 guys rush for over 70 yards. Not too awful on a sloppy Monday night.

This was pretty much what I expected on a Monday night. Very sloppy early on but as the game went on the Eagles got better. I was impressed with Midway. They are not to be taken lightly by anyone. I think Coach Priest held his cards close to the vest last night with Bob watching from the sidelines. Wishbone the whole night and only 1 pass attempt. I am sure things will open up Friday night offensively. Defense really took the bull by the horns and won this one for the Eagles. With the exception of one drive, Midway got next to nothing on offense. Should be a good one Friday Night.
