Interesting how few eastern teams will be in 2AA East. I know its a long time off but if this would be all those teams would have to travel to North Davidson. Hmmm

Never thought about being in the East....knew we would be 2AA, knew a state championship would have to be won over 4-6 really good teams in 2AA. For me, South Point and Reidsville are the favorite until someone knocks them off, same goes for Shelby in 2A.

Not saying ND will win it all, but we should be in the equation....

Reidsville will definitely be 2a. Shelby is borderline 2aa. Depends on who's in and who's out. The playoffs are going to be very good this year

Not trying to exclude the Eastern teams or Hibriten, etc, just making an observation of possible East/West match ups...still trying to wrap my mind around being 2AA East, but looking at Simmons stuff on the lines, it makes sense.

Actually, W-S Journal does a decent job with high school sports (not just football). Greensboro News & Record, meanwhile, has been handcuffed by ridiculous deadline since they are now using the W-S Journal press and have to finish all articles by 9:30. N&R now directing readers to the internet coverage.
