Does winning your conference tournament meen anything for playoff seeding?

Or is it simply just for bragging rights? i know it is for tie breakers, but if there isnt any ties to break, could a team that didnt finish 1st 2nd or 3rd in regular season get a 1,2, or 3 seed by winning the conference tournament? could 4th place alleghany move up by winning the mvac tournament or r they a wild card no matter what?

Conference tourney champ becomes the 2 seed. It can't make any impact on who the 1 seed is, though.
