EverY year we have open tryouts.AS told to me . They have no reason to lie.All the newbies are in the fieldhouse.in comes this wally cox looking kid with glasses.Hell we thought he was hosting some kinda game show the hollywood squares.HE looked the part.As always we ask each newbie. why they wanna wear the red and black,. some say my daddy played, a dream of mine to play ,EVERY MALE IN MY FAMILY PLAYED, IT,S A TRADITION. His reply was that my daddy was a 4 year letter man on the chess team. I want to be better than him .when i graduate I want it to say that I played sports. who wants it so say chess team.He tried out did not make it. We commend the young man for not wanting to following in your steps. Here,s thefunny part you went and talked our biggest booster MRKELLUM about buying his way on the team as a Christmas present from good ole daddy.He said all the money in world can not buy him a uni . MR KELLUM BE SATISFIED WITH WHAT HE IS. The boy will make a hell of a chess player or debater CHECKMATE

We just win titles. I'll take rebuilding years and titles over 10-2, 11-1 and losing deep in the playoffs each year. Our coach is getting healthy and we have a bright young star at QB, all is well over here.
