Just thought that the Bishop McGuinness "Lady" Villians should be recognized for their tremendous championship run of 9 straight seasons(2006-2014)....Hats off to Coach Brian Robinson and the Bishop McGuinness lady basketball program on their historic achievement....
I know that there have been countless threads thru the years with lots of consternation from opposing fans in regards to whether or not Bishop McGuinness had an unfair advantage or not about being able to just pick and choose talented players from anywhere in the world, and I think that question has been answered many times, and doesn't need to be discussed again on this thread....
What is seldom overlooked in regards to Bishop McGuinness is the tremendous coaching job that has been done during this historic championship run....Has Coach Brian Robinson been there since 2006?
Would also like to congratulate all the "lady" Villian players thru the years who have bonded together, and brought home those 9 titles in 9 consecutive seasons....
If a script could have been written to end the streak, it could NOT have been written any better: It was only fitting that the "lady" Yellowjackets of Hayesville should end that streak,and end it on their home floor, since it was their 6 consecutive championship streak that had been broken by Bishop McGuinness 3 years ago....
