Deland Thomas is signing with Catawba College in Salisbury, NC to play basketball AND football for the Indians. The kid is a worker. If anyone can manage to play both, he'll find a way. Glad to see a kid from one of the smallest schools in the mountains get a chance to further his sports careers. (Yes, with an "s").
