Well with the schedule finally figured out we can move on with the season.......for Clinton we have not played in almost two weeks look for there to possibly be some rust but i think we get back to business and roll in this one........The Knights have lost games to Union,Trask, and Wallace and things get tougher Friday night for their first year head coach.......Not sure what happen to WB in football two years ago they had a 9-1 JV team that lost to Wallace in OT and also beat a really good Clinton JV team....guess JV success did not carry over to varsity.......Clinton continues to roll....my prediction Clinton 42 West Bladen 7

The defense has given up 36 points through 7 games. I think the Dark Horses win and not sure WB even scores.

Yea not sure either i gave em 7 just to be nice.....last year we shut em out would not be surprised if it happens again

A game for us Clinton fans to keep out eye on East Duplin vs Northside-jax this friday.....very good chance we will see one or maybe even both sometime in the upcoming 2AA east playoffs

At the beginning of the year WB was real solid, then the wheels fell off at Whiteville when Coach kicked off three of his best players for disciplinary reasons. After that injuries got them, lost 2-3 lineman and their quarterback. Pretty sure they are starting a handful of freshmen and sophomores. They are overmatched in this game but they will play hard and compete, I have seen that in every game. Folks at WB are all wondering "is basketball season here yet?"

Question for all Clinton posters????? Trying to figure out how many yards Ryheem needs to break Nick Cooper's all time rushing record.....Looking up stats here on preps Cooper's junior season he rushed for 2,072 yards senior year he rushed for 2,880 yards my question is how many did he get sophomore year???? I know it was somewhere between 1,000-1,200 yards of course thats the year he shared the rock with two other 1,000 yard rushers......just tryn to get a exact number or somewhere in the ballpark

I would guess it is not way off but because that monster senior year nic had it may be tough, I know Ryheem had 2k his sophomore year and nic didn't, but I think this year for Ryheem may end up being like Nic's Sophmore because 1) the backfield is loaded, 2) Ryheem isn't playing in most 2nd halfs because we r blowing people out. I would think it gets close pending a potential deep post season run, end the end though I think Nic keeps the rushing total record at Clinton. Although, trust me I'd love to see him beat it because if he does, we are probably playing and potentially winning a title.

I added Nic's #'s up (estimating his sophmore year at 1200yrds) = 6,152 total rushing yards
Not knowing exact numbers but I'll just say 2k/year (underestimating obviously)
If he hit 2k again this year, currently has 758, he would be 152yrds shy. So closer than I thought but it's. on a be tough to get to 2k this year unless he explodes.

This is all true also remember Coop would get anywhere from 20-30 carries a game our #2 RB Earle Kemp was dealing with a high ankle sprain for a good part of the season and them got suspended till the 3rd round of the playoffs so during that time offensively Mallard leaned on Cooper big time.....i remember Nick rushed for over 1,000 yard + in the playoffs alone........Ryheem still has a chance to become the first to hit 2,000 yards 3 times but at the end of the day records are nice but im sure he rather have that ring on his finger

Ryheem Skinners numbers according to maxpreps

2014:2,043
2015:2,173
2016:Currently thru 7 games 758
Total of : 4,974 yards

Nick Cooper according to ncpreps
2004:??? Just gonna guess 1100
2005: 2072
2006: 2880
Total of 6,052 yards

So my unofficial guess would be Ryheem is currently 1078 yards away

Nic was cut by the packers as 2nd to last guy cut in preparation to the 53 man roster. Heard McCarthy told him he hated to cut him but didn't have room for two Fullbacks. Don't think he ever got another call.

I believe the packers still have Kuhn as their fullback,he's a good one to and also a crowd favorite

Jaylen Smith 3 yard TD run......after Kris Williams got his 6th pick of the year to stop WBs first drive......Clinton 7 WB 0 7:37 left in 1st

Wright 3 yard TD run.....after strong runs by Skinner and Wright.....Clinton leading 14-0 late in the 1st quarter

Williams to Wright from 15 yards out for the TD.....after a great interception by Jamarian Smith #8......Williams throwing the ball very well tonight......Clinton leading 21-0

Skinner runs it in for the TD.....Clinton 28-0.....short field set up by long punt return by Tyion Wright.....Wright having a heck of a game

This time its a pass from Tyion Wright to Kris Williams for the 62 yard TD......Wright 4 total TDs in the first half...PAT failed....Clinton 41 West Bladen 0 3 mins left in the half

Halftime Clinton leading 41-0.....looking like Skinner & company may be done for the night....would like to see them get one more drive these blowouts really hinder Skinner's stats.....but with Jaylen Smith already nicked up Lewis will probably take no chances especially with the game well in hand
