They took the uprights off both field goal posts before the hurricane so there's actually no damage. I know it looks like they're broken but they aren't. That's part of the reason those new goal post were purchased two years ago so they could easily be disassembled for an event like this.

Just heard there won't be any football this Friday night either. The Duplin County schools will be closed all week and I don't know about Clinton school schedule (closed yesterday and tomorrow so far), but if you can't hold school because of weather events you can't hold/attend athletic events/extracurricular activities as well. Bummer!. Next week it will be 4 weeks since the last Clinton footballl game. I don't know, in the scheme of things maybe football isnt important. I hope the NCHSAA understands that. The regular seasoln needs to be extended for at least one week.

Off subject but former Clinton RB Skinner is off to a red hot start in his 2nd season playing Juco in California 374 yards 3 Tds in 2 games......he should have some decent offers waiting for him hopefully
