Both Clinton teams returned to action with lopsided victories over County rival Lakewood girls won 61-37 to improve to 10-3(1-0) boys won 72-27 to improve to 7-6(0-1).....Clinton will square off with Midway tomorrow evening the girls matchup should be very exciting

The struggle is real at Lakewood right now. They have always had athletes, but this year they have ZERO on the basketball team. It’s stunning. Found out last night not only are they now 0-10 but nearest margin of defeat has been 23 points. Wishing there program the best and hope they return to form in the next few years.

That is staggering! They didn't do themselves any favors with the non-conference schedule. Conference play should be a lot of bad basketball teams playing bad basketball and Princeton.

I can say this, Clinton will be by far the toughest game the Midway girls have played so far.

Both Clinton teams were victorious vs Midway last night boys won 79-61 improving to 8-6(1-1) while the girls won a huge game defeating previously undefeated Midway girls 71-67 improving to 11-3(2-0)

Big game Tuesday for both squads especially the boys taking on a good Goldsboro team currently at the top of the conference

Off subject but in the past we talked about how here at Clinton in recent years we had alot of really good athletes only wanting to play one sport primarily basketball.....heard a story about Clemson's true freshman Wide Receiver Justyn Ross and he is the perfect example....Ross wanted to quit football to focus primarily on basketball but his mother and coach would not let him.....now look at him today....moral of the story if you have this God given athletic ability why limit yourself.
