There was a kick return tonight and a Highland kid was absolutely demolished. I didn’t think he was getting up. He did and I’m glad. There were times when it was just hard to watch. Football only conferences needs to happen or just combine us and Shelby with Lincoln County.
Ashbrook’s #77 is they only bright spot they have he is a pancaking machine!! Gaston County is just a bigger version of Rutherford County outside of SP😂

75 for Ashbrook was a monster too. They had an impressive looking oline. This was the first game all year that Ashbrook has given up 100 yards rushing I believe.
Given that your SUPER TEAM has given up 125 POINTS in just 4 GAMES looks like the entire DEFENSE is SOFT .

It was very chippy but I loved it. That leave no doubt physical butt kicking up and down the field all night might lead a few wayward “souls” from west Gastonia to the oasis of KM football😎. We only have two former Huskies on varsity by the way. Both with parents who graduated from KM High. Family ties in KM do run deep.
