Excited that we are participating in the jamboree this year. It is refreshing to see Coach Glass schedule good teams to scrimmage against and not the likes of Cherryville.
Yes, it will be great to see an old rival again, even if it is just a scrimmage.

I'm excited about it. Speaking truthfully we will not be much of a test for the Golden Lions but it will really challenge our guys. I hope that we can get back to our old ways and get y'all back on the schedule sooner rather than later.

Looking forward to seeing the progress Burns has made this summer. Ive heard good things but time will tell. This group of kids along with that freshman group has been highly touted as a "special group" hopefully the coaches and players are all on the same page and bought in. I believe the county in is up in the air and any of the 4 can own it this season.

Really looking forward to seeing ACR and Crest battle it out even if it's just a scrimmage. I always enjoyed ACR playing them. Starting Friday it's going to be a tough 3 weeks for ACR, scrimmage Crest, then play East Forsyth and Shelby the first two weeks of the season. Hope everyone stays healthy and I'm also looking forward to some good BBQ in Shelby before the game! :)

Never cared for the jamboree personally. Either the coaches sit all the starters out or they only play one quarter at best. Rather just keep everybody healthy and wait for South Point.

With our upcoming schedule I look for the coaches to be very careful with how much action they see vs Crest. I'm thinking a couple possessions is about it for our most important players, however I could be wrong, it is our first true scrimmage of the year so he may let them play more, we shall see.

Does not pertain to the CC Jamboree but saw ER against us tonight. Burns will finish ahead of them in conference play.

I am looking forward to the season as well. I certainly hope you have heard right and we are in for a better season. I have no doubt KP will do his thing again this year. We just need to see the biggest improvement on the defensive side of the ball. No matter how good your O is, you can't win if the D is giving up over 40 points a game. Hopefully, the off season work the team has put in will pay off in a much better D this year.

Cleveland County showing out in Clev Co Jamboree. Shelby, KM and Crest all look strong. Excited to watch Burns next against Indy.

Much better than last year. Pryor is amazing fast. CJ Hopper is a hard running between the tackles back. Sweezy passes aren’t pretty but he has capabilities to complete some mid range ones. Kicker Benfield is best I the county. Defense looked ok. Got to work on shedding blocks to make plays.

Overall, I see Burns finishing 3rd in their conference with a better than 50-50 chance of beating SP for 2nd place.

I agree with this assessment .... I see a ground and pound from the Dogs this year .... 3 yards and a cloud of dust .
