All the teams looked decent last night at Big Oaks. Braves will shock some people this season.
Agreed. I was hoping to tell more about Robbinsville as they are the normal threat in the conference. The Bradley boy from Swain is a beast. Couldn't really tell much about the QB it looked like they had #8 and #2 both taking snaps.Enjoyed the scrimmage format last night. Looked like it was fun for the kids and fans.
I thought Cherokees passing attack showed the potential of being dangerous. Their QB is big and has a rocket for an arm. Best Cherokee team I've seen fielded in a while. I also felt that Cherokee was sand bagging and showed the least of any team there. Could be a good year for the Braves.
Robbinsville's line is big and physical on both sides of the ball. The Swain transfer was clearly the best lineman on the field, kid is a stud. Their #81 WR is a weapon, better know where he is when he lines up.
Hayesville was just a scrappy team that will not go away this season. #41 looked good and #6 RB was a tough runner.
Andrews defense was very strong at times. Cats learning a new offense, they should get better each week.
Surprise who? Swain? Andrews?[/
Sorry BK, I forgot that you never have anything positive to say about any other team. And yes the Braves will surprise some folks.
