Agreed ........nuff said...But does it have anything directly to do with the football program? The article doesn't mention anything about football, so I'm just posing the question because it seems odd to me that this is mentioned on a 4A football forum when nothing at all is mentioned about athletics.
This is old news. He screwed up, got caught, and they fried him.Because he defrauded a school that plays 4A football. If you think it can't affect a football program, look at the similar situation at Southlake Christian. Obviously, Catholic won't scrap their football program in the wake of financial scandal turmoil like Southlake did, but I still think it was relevant to post.

Football team had nothing to do with it and, as you can see, continues taking names each week unabated. Life goes on my friend. Maybe you should climb aboard and get over yourself. Might do you some good. Observe and Report on that.
Southlake who?
Please. I'm just defending a poster I respect after people questioned why he dared to mention your dirty laundry. I couldn't care less about Catholic.
Jerry was one the sidelines every game cheering on the mighty Cougars. Say what you want but it is football related. I said it happened last year foot it is now new news because of his guilty plea and awaiting sentencing.
I wear my CC hat you gave me with pride... you know Jerry was on the sidelines every game home and away.
The date is Sept 4th on the article.
That is true. He didn't miss many. Jerry was a sports guy. He loved interscholastics. He coached for decades and started the middle school football program which made us contenders, made us champions again. He was with the Catholic school system over thirty years and a fabulous administrator. He started out as a teacher. He did a lot of good things but this was a crime and required intervention internally and externally and that's what occurred. Had to be done. I miss him and wish him well.Jerry was one the sidelines every game cheering on the mighty Cougars. Say what you want but it is football related. Healy was an integral part of Catholic for 40+ years. Actually had been with the school longer than Coach Oddo. He coached with Oddo for many many years until the early-mid 90s when he left to go start the Catholic middle school on Park Rd. Now known as Holy Trinity.
This has nothing to do with football at all. He was on sidelines....and what principal isn't on the sidelines for games. Especially one who coached at the school at one point and who had been connected to it for decades. This is a stupid thread started by someone who is a fan of a team who gets drug around the field by Catholic every time the two play.
Old news, everyone knew it was coming. He got what he deserved cause what he did was wrong. Moving on.
Answer to your questionWhat does this have to do with 4A football?
First of all I'm not a CC hater like little man said nor am
I jealous of their program.
As far as where they can get their players. I want go there.
Foot can back me up on this!
I'll go back several years. CC came to Brown for a playoff
game.
John who took care of the CC field at this time had a son
who was a senior for CC.
John needed some help getting his wife into the stands.
She had surgery that morning and could not walk too far.
I set them up with chairs on the visitors side on the hill
overlooking the field. Got them in the back gate to park
and escorted them to their seats(chairs) for the game.
I agree remote. However, this thread had nothing to do with football and truthfully has no place here.I can comment that hon has been an good k town guy. Maybe a little smug on his first trip to our little stadium but the kinda of fan and person who loves high school sports and looks after the visitors
I don't think he meant any disrespect but Coach Healey did a lot of things right by the kids during his life. It is a shame that this happened
I would rather remember those great things he did
Despite Hon's good will over the years, I'm not surprised he started the thread - does'nt belong here.
