Carrboro vs Graham score?

In the other game, it was Bartlett Yancey 54, Cummings 14

Carrboro and Graham now tied for second in conference with 2-1 records ...

This week's games:
J-M at Carrboro
Graham at Cummings
Bartlett Yancey at Reidsville

Battle for that second playoff spot is going to be interesting ... Bartlett Yancey, at 5-4, has only winning overall record in league other than Reidsville.

I actually think JMs offense isn't terrible. Their D isn't very good. Depending on Carrboro, I think JM may pull it out. Cummings will loose again. We shouldn't have much trouble with BY. I'd actually like to see a good game.

Any word on Bartlett Yancey senior RB Shay Jeffers, who has been out with an elbow injury? He's easily the best RB Reidsville will see in conference (if he plays). Very fast and elusive runner - qualified for states in 100 meters last spring with 11.4 in regionals.

Remaining schedule for 2nd place contenders:

Graham (2-1): @ Cummings, @ B-Y
Carrboro (2-1): J-M, @ Reidsville
J-M (1-2): @ Carrboro, @ Cummings
B-Y (1-2): @ Reidsville, Graham
Cummings (0-3): Graham, J-M

Cummings is a distant long shot at best. Assuming that Reidsville defeats B-Y and Carrboro (and no reason to believe otherwise), B-Y would have 3 losses, which probably kills their chances at 2nd place. The loser of the J-M/Carrboro game will also have 3 losses. If Graham wins out, 2nd place is theirs but they are on the road for their final 2 games. I believe the 2nd spot will come down to Graham or the winner of J-M/Carrboro game this week.

Its weird though I feel like By is the 2nd best team in the conference, but likely won't finish that way

Well this year NCHSAA has changed the playoffs. It's not the top 3 this year. Only #1 in conference is guaranteed playoffs and everyone after that is seeded by overall record. With that in place, BY could still end up making playoffs for second straight season.
