not that desirable anymore.....had to forfeit a couple of games last year because they couldn't even field a team.....no jayvee team either......they're in the same conference as Reidsville and it has not been a good thing.............2-0 forfeit wins really suck for a team physically and financially........................
Wow. They were in the semis of the state playoffs just a few years back. What happened?
not really sure what happened down there....I do know they lost their coach...also heard that they re-districted the area down there.....wish they were out of the Mid-state 2A.........
They played in the state championship a few years ago and lost their good coach (Tudryn) to the UNC football staff.
yeah we lost to them by less than a TD in the last couple of minutes in the state quarterfinals (2012) they then defefeated Northside in state semis before losing to I think S. Iredell in title game......the next year they joined Reidsville's conf. and I thought this is great.......hmmm. .....been anything but......Reidsville destroyed them in 2013 and 2014 before winning by forfeit (2-0) again this past year........what a rapid decline..................................
One of the great declines that I can remember in high school football. They played South Iredell great and to the wire in that title game; really easily could have won it but South got the breaks. Thought they were a team to watch but they fell apart brick by brick.
