Sports writer told me last week they had best RBs in 2A .Anything to this?
Can someone tell us how good Princeton is?

That is saying a lot if he has seen Whiteville, Wallace, East Duplin, ST Pauls and Northeastern play who are loaded with RB's.
They have two very good ones. But don't think they are as good as Roberts from Wallace or the one from St Paul's. They are very good though
One is exceptional. They are a solid, not real flashy bunch. Good line play both offense and defense. They good probably not tops in the east. Better bring ur "A" game though. Jmo
Very good team, I have seen them play a number of times this year. They are not flashy and you know what your going to get, problem is stopping it. A couple very good running backs and a steady defense. Big offensive line that leads the way.
I watched a lot of their game last week vs Kinston. They are good....but behind NE, WRH, ED, and Whiteville.
Maybe Clinton and St Paul’s as well. Really good team, No. 1 seed - no.
I would agree they may be behind a couple of those teams, but not all of them. Beat ED earlier, also beat Smithfield Selma who is a 3A playoff team. Can they be beaten, yes but not an easy out at all.
They did beat ED in Beaulaville, that’s something Wrh has failed to do. I think they deserved the #1 seed and I hope we get the opportunity to play them at that beautiful stadium.
I've seen faster backs. They are big but not as fast as some. This is first video I've seen on them.

Wrh did beat ed in beulaville in 18 i think. I know we won over there not too long ago. U need to quit hating on wrh. We recognize what yal have up there. Chill good buddy!
Not hating at all, I just know that Princeton won at ED this year. John constantly reminds me that we lost to Wrh in 17. I find it amusing how people tend to write them off even after they’ve knocked off the best team in Duplin. It’s almost like it didn’t happen.
I love your post to daagoob, but i am to old to be fooled. I know you have some good backs. You don't have to be a great back if you run behind that big line NE has. All they have to do is follow them hogs and they will take them to the end zone.
Princeton can play with anyone, I agree everyone has an excuse as to why they beat ED or they just don't mention it. They have beaten ED the last two times they played. The teams remaining are VERY good and a play or turnover here or there can make the difference in any game this week.

Okay you got me. We do have a couple of backs but they aren’t like the backs down south. Our backs are small but lightning quick. I haven’t seen a team this year that can match us with speed. If we were to get a chance to play you will get to see a very fun high powered offense. Nothing about our offense or defense is boring. Coach Moore is constantly mixing things up with a lot of trickery and just some all out crazy plays. He’s definitely not conservative. I think we’ll be facing Whiteville for the eastern championship here in Elizabeth City. I am very confident for tomorrow’s night game and believe we’ll be traveling the following Friday.

Princeton definitely is not to be taken lightly. They also beat ed in the spring. Them & whiteville will be a game to see if it materializes. It should if whiteville's all that
I just started the trash talk a week early, no time like the present. How many titles has ED won? This is a serious question because I honestly don’t know. I’m sure it’s a lot though.
I agree, both teams have improved though. Everybody remaining is better that they were at the beginning of the year.
Do some research lol zero. Probably the best program in the state not to win one. Had some wild good teams, but ran into state championship winners Clinton or swo or wrh. Keep sleeping on ED......
I hope you are right. Sounds like NE and the Pack are a lot alike. If that happens i hope my hip will let it me go. I'am suppose to get it replaced the next week if i can hold out. I will suffer through the pain if that happens just to see your team play.

Like I've said ran into legit powerhouse teams. They lose to teams in the playoffs that win the title that year lol should have won a title in 17 but didn't get the bounce that day in the title game , NE knows all about that. BTW that interview with coach Moore got me wanting to go to war next to that dude. Class act, need more men like him in this world. He's helping the youth more then most coaches. Giving kidd opportunities to see life outside the small town of EC. Everytime you speak to him, remind him and thank him for his efforts for shaping the next generation. If he was at SWO, swo would be contending for title promise that. Kids from the neighborhood thrive off his energy
Not sure what that means, never heard that one..... definitely home field advantage up in NE, bus ride and then that wind blowing off the ocean. Fits the smash mouth style of South teams. NE pass happy, but used to the weather. Never know these days with some kids in the cold. Different animal getting rocked in 30 degree weather compared to 60
This is the most complimentary post you’ve ever gave our program or Coach. I will most definitely show him this post tonight. He is going to be taken back by what you just wrote, believe me. He and I are quite alike, neither of us had much growing up and even though we both graduated in 91 we’re still just kids ourselves. I can’t wait to be the ball boy at NE next year. I’m so excited about that opportunity to be on the sidelines.
Same brother, had one pair pants and one pair shoes freshman year of HS. Phil P bought my first cleats in HS. Just amazing to see there are coaches like Moore still around. Phil P my HS coach had more impact on my life then any adult male ever still to this day. Gave me confidence to play the game and confidence to succeed in the classroom. Without him, honestly not sure what I'd be in life. I can tell coach Moore has helped and reached many kids and shown them life outside of EC. Only way lot of these kids leave and get educated is by football in some small towns. Moore is a legend in my eyes, even if he never wins a title. But great men like him will find a way. Glad he stayed in EC, born and raised and has built a program.......
He’s teamed up with the Rose coaches and is doing an all star event next month in Pitt County.
