Coach Beaver is now an assistant principal (replaced Roxanne Proctor who retired). We never replaced Coach Cogdill as DC so now we get to replace one of them. But we also never got to replace Coach Rumfelt.

We have hired David Diamont. Looks like he has come from South Stokes and he will be OC and QB coach. Welcome to Lawndale Coach Diamont!
OK, someone with some info.....what do we have coming to Lawndale with Coach Diamont?
He's a very experienced assistant coach. He's a few years older than me; don't know him as well as his dad. He split between East Surry and West Stokes for a lot of years I seen him at both. He helped his dad and Coach UpChurch. A few years back he was HC of North Stokes's middle school and did a very commendable job for how messy it is there. He helped his dad out at South Stokes for the past few years; he was very active at their scrimmage last year.
He's a good hand. Probably wanting some big ball experience before getting an HC job.
I discovered that his dad was the longtime head coach at East Surry until 2018 and had the stadium named after him. He took a year off and then took the South Stokes job. I think Davey also helped him at East Surry.
I've known the family for a long time and ya'll got a good one. He's very intelligent and has been around it since he was in diapers. I went to West Stokes and saw him in action. Players liked him a lot from what I gathered.
Great hire, if pedigree means anything and I know it don't he'll be fine. Watched him from little league till high school. Excellent football IQ and is a student of the game. Wish him nothing but success
