Brackets In Progress

And then they will post it, everyone will get excited and then they’ll say the messed up. Just like the did in soccer this year.

Oh we already know it will be Messed UP. Every thing they get their grubby fingers on is. This will be no different. Im sure they are looking at the biggest Gate producing matchups first round and on.

1. Last year a team was left off that clearly had a higher ranking.

2. Just what is the ADJUSTMENT in the adjusted rankings?

I’m trying to think of a matchup some local hosting teams could get that would be a good gate.

Last year, I learned that most teams don’t travel all that well... even in the 2nd or 3rd round of the playoffs.

Some one is going to get lucky and draw North Davidson. They’ll bring a big crowd even with this 6-5 season.

Adjusted Rankings, ANY rankings are a load of crap. Straight record only. A good loss is a LOSS, cut and dry.

I like it... but then I don’t like it.

Take Bartlett Yancey for example. They are 9-2. They are not good. Not even close to playoff worthy.

Somehow, its possible that they may not make the playoffs in this current format.

Nothing is perfect at all, but I do like it better than the old predetermined brackets when a stellar conference champ could meet a stellar conference champ in round two.

BY may not be very good but they are as good as Cummings and Carrboro.
