I was told WC has improved. Can u believe it. Pack by 55 . WC it's sad.
We been told for 8 years wait til next year,we get better. Looking at another 0-10 year. Don't measure by wins now,look at individual improvements,are they getting better with block,schemes ect. No they are not. Why? You do the math.

I think they have improved with there athletic QB.The spread can change offense if u have the Athletes.U got to get players out.West Columbus basketball has some big kids.They won the conference last yr.The center is 6 5 kid .Football will look more promising in scholarships than basketball.

They don't have the kids to run spread. They also had 40 kids out including that 6-5 kid you mentioned . There's no spirit on that team period. You play like u practice. For 8 years now everybody blames the kids. Yes they been short on numbers in past but when you know u out matched,why try throw ball 30 yards down field giving other team more possions and making game longer. That's why they getting beat by 40-50 pts. game. JMO. But what the heck do I know.

If the Wolfpack has 6 turnovers WC will be ln the game. If the Pack can catch the ball and not fumble it is a runaway.

Strick,WC not fundamentally sound at all. OL has no clue who to block against different fronts. Pack by 50 because running clock. It won't help pack much to play them. Just telling the truth. They have some talent but try to throw ball 30 yards down field and to flats. #8 great player both ways.

I know whiteville gets the best athletes.I give to the players that come out every Friday.I know I would not like to take a beat down like that every game.Just got to keep pushing.Red springs waz pick to finish 5 in the conference.Teams r not afraid of s Columbus whiteville an East Bladen .W Columbus has to get that mind set

It take a program to be put in place by someone who knows how to run a program. Some of the kids at WC do what they want because of no wins,don't know how to win. Basketball and baseball have done good. Baseball fixing to go down too. Benton's twins gone,other seniors. Young coming up.
Supporters at WC just give up on football and just don't go. 8 years running now getting beat bad,not even in games. They are players there. Whiteville,SC have programs in place. Coaches that are proven winners,therefore players respect them and give 100 percent. It takes a while to build that. Asst coaches that know the positions. East Columbus about in same boat. Best wishes to all teams,it looks like Red Springs is the team in conf. this year. Fairmont has talent,and if they put a complete game toghter that will make a run in 2A playoffs.

You are right,but they have some good looking players.It would take the right coach to turn them into a good team.They have always had some good looking players,they just need the right coach.

I think Red Springs wins by as many as they want. Whiteville plays ST Pauls next week for seniors night. Going to be a heck of a game. Pack is going to have to hang on to the ball for sure. Cant turn it over like they did against RS. I think the defense will keep us in the game. Last night they played the Moss kid at LB some and he made a huge difference. I know the coach don't want to play his QB on defense because he doesn't want him to get hurt. In middle school he was a running back on offense and LB on defense. One of the best Line backers i have ever coached along with the Wilson kid.

You are spot on. I did kike the OB and the small RB andson they were good,but the big guys up front did not do a good jod blocking for the run or pass. there feet are to slow.My grandson played the 4th quarter at left tackle and weights 160 pounds and kept pushing there big right tackle about 6 foot 3 250 pounds back into the backfield on ever play.Whats wrong with that story?

Strick, you could take WC kids,put them in that run game you like and be competitive. Because you know the running game. Coaches at WC spread 4 out every play and try throw it 30 yards every play. I don't understand when you don't have players to run this why you would not go to wing- t or something. Linemen don't and can't hold their blocks,don't know who to block. I'm not getting on any coach,but this is big time football in this conf. You have to teach these kids proper blocking schemes or you won't be competitive. You play how you practice. I will say WC QB looked pretty good but don't have time to throw. Pack vs St. Paul should be a good game. I'll be there Friday night for this one. Coach Dove was watching last night and was impressed with Pack running backs.
