SWO rolls big. First game in 7 weeks starters should get more reps, but subs will finish the 3rd and 4th quarters. Rd two on the other hand will start some real battles. Can't wait

As much as I hate SWO, they will win easily. Bertie is in dire straits right now. Ive seen them play twice this year. Im pulling for you gus though, I hope you guys can come out and make it a game. Good luck Falcons

Been checking out Bertie. Match up with SWO dosnt look good.

They have a 1000 yard rusher, Cooper.
QB has thrown for over 1000 yards.
On paper they look balanced. Didnt find any video of them.

Scoring is less than 7 pts a qtr on average

On Defense nothing stands out.
allow more than they score

SWO with a 2000 yard rusher
QB throws and runs about the same
Run heavy but can throw it if they have to

SWO scoring at first glance is all first two qtrs. But with the starters playing VERY Little second half its misleading.

Defense is steller, even JVs and subs have allowed only 14 in 7 games.

Size is weighted heavy on SWO side. 4 linemen, 295, 295, 295, and 300. rest over 250

The line can block and tackle
LB is a position that stands out.

If Bertie is gonna hang will have to score quick and pretty often
And then hold the Stallion Offense in check.

Just hope SWO lets the starters get in a full game. Dont care if we hang 100 on em. Its the playoffs. Got to get ready for top line teams, last 4 rounds.

Who has the biggest night Friday, NE or SWO. They are the two biggest games in 2A first round....if one of us bites the dust ......

Reguardless of where you finished, its a new season. Come to Play and Hard, SWO will. Have seen to many playoff games over the years and take nothing for granted. We have been taken out as #1 seed and this year is no different. Good luck to the Falcons.

Lol, I really do want to play you guys to say otherwise would be a lie. The only reason though is for us to have the opportunity to put to rest all the naysayers. I understand by winning the east this year then we can do that anyway. I personally didn't feel the need to start a thread for Fairmont vs Northeastern. I've never seen them play at all but I don't see us having a problem this week. I think we win by 35 plus and I think SWO wins by 45 plus. No disrespect intended to Bertie, they are just having a down year. That kid Cooper for them is pretty good though and would be a starter at Northeastern. After this week everything goings to get a lot harder, no game will be easy.

Just saw where Bertie's QB is out with an injury. If all they come with is a running game wont be pretty. But playoffs you take no prisoners.

Keep supporting your team flyfalconsfly. I know it can be hard some time when they are down. Had a lot of dissapointing years with SWO, but never gave up. After winning 2A in 2000 missed the playoffs to a "short straw" in 01. When coach Padgett retired and also our def. coach had the worst year in over 30. From not even considered for playoffs, to round 2 to eastern finals in 3 years of rebuilding. Had some beatdowns last year but I think we will compete this year a lot better. Hope you and other Bertie fans make the trip and support the kids. I hope "IF YOU LOSE" you can say it was to the State Champs this year. Play your best and hope to see you next year also.
