WRH and NH got last game. Does anyone have schedule. I would like to see Whiteville. They might be the West busters in playoffs. It would be awesome WRH and Whiteville in 2a championship
Bridge out in Wilmington right now,could be trouble getting to field. We will see. Good luck to SC and Pack.
I'm calling it early and I hate to say it but, this is about to be a rebuilding year. Couple notes on things I saw tonight
Offense
lacking motivation and "spunk"
OL looked sloppy and very out of shape, tons of missed blocks
QB didnt complete a pass all night, lacks accuracy, situational awareness and pass blocking from OL.
RB and FB looked pretty decent especially the #12. Only one i saw really hustling the whole time and made some big plays.
Defense
DL played really well, hustled 99% of the time and made some big plays but I didn't feel as though they were energized mentally.
CB's cant defend the pass much, any team that can throw the ball beats us all day long.
Crowd
Even the crowd and fans were dead quiet most of the night which is highly unlike the SC fan base I know. This was one of the big surprises.
.500 on the year, one playoff game on the road a long ways from TC.

In other news, Willie Gore has resigned and now the AD position is open... hoping Jake comes over from TCES to fill the roll but but my bet is we have a basketball coach with a .200 win % as our new AD. "We might not play worth a d*** but at least we'll look like an NBA team for the 20 fans come december.
You talking throwing the ball on SC,well I saw Red Springs this week they had a lot of players,and threw the ball really well. Best looking RS team I've seen in years,but it's early. Whiteville will be hard to beat in conf. play. SC always plays hard nose football. Robeson county might have a team that can compete if they keep them together . Fairmont,St. Paul's I hear is better,I know RS is. Should be a good conf. for 2A teams this year.
Went to South carolina to teach PE I believe, more money. Not uncommon for NC teachers to make the move.
Heard it hear first. Wville will run away with this conf. South down and EB very down. Really the only 2 they can compete with pack. Returning 15/22 starters. Sry to all pack haters but truth hurts sometimes. Wville 1 and SC,EB playing for distant 2nd. If pack gets by WBrunsick they should go undefeated through regular season. This conf will hurt pack come playoff time. Seen it happen in past
yeah, that is what worries me...
These boys have been brought up to a tradition of winning and think becasue they have that black SC on their jersey they'll just automatically win. These seniors and juniors have experienced anything other than conf championships since they got to HS.
I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm even optimistic on a 2nd place... wouldnt be surprised if a RobCo team slipped up there. Cant sleep on those guys.
I hope so TC... a lot of improvement needs to be made but surely we can do that.
