West Brunswick. Nice facility. All Brunswick County Schools got artificial turf. Good story about last year. WRH was playing last game against host West Brunswick. We, away teams were down 35. WRH won the game in a half played. Was told coach from WB was a little upset and said something about WRH running up score. Was told Kevin said we thought we were supposed to win the game. No doubt they weren’t going to match us up with them this year.

I watched the event on the internet. What were y'all supposed to do, just lay down? Y'all just played Wallace football and won your segment. Nothing wrong with that.

You can get pretty good reads on most teams at these scrimmages. Princeton had I think a 6 team scrimmage last year and got a pretty good read on SWO, WRH and Princeton. Princeton was the best, followed closely by WRH. U could see what Princeton had and it was impressive. U could also see WRH had o line that was just as good, if not better than Princeton. WRH was not playing everyone. I thought then WRH had a good chance in the east.

Prayers needed for Drew Henderson. He was involved in a bad car accident last night. He is responsive but has 2 broke legs and a broke arm. He was set to contribute in backfield and defense at East Duplin. He is a grandson on one of our own. She is one of the strongest, kindest people I know and has been through more than most could handle.

He is a very good athlete and also an excellent student. The whole family is just good people. Prayers for the young man and the family.
