Looks like Monday is Opening week for some teams - Look like one of the bigger match up on Monday is - NWC vs Kannapolis at the New Cannon Ballers Stadium.

Who are your teams opening game!?

Mooresville will take on North Meck on Tues at Home
 
Crazy game at Atrium Stadium. It was a pitching duel. 0-0 till bottom of 6th when NWC scored a run to lead 1-0. Brown has their chances to tie or win the game when MR. momentum struck.
Bottom of 7th Brown batter burns CFer and RF er with runner on 1st 1 out scoring tying run but runner tried to stretch it into a triple and was thrown out at 3B for out 2. still 2 outs and Brown batter walks and pick off attempt gets by 1B. runner goes to 2B. Still 2 outs. wild pitch sends runner to 3B. Pitcher balks in the winning run with 2 out bottom 7th. AL Brown wins 2-1

Mooresville Sweeps North Meck : 11-1 in the first game, 12-0 2nd game

Mooresville will HOST Hough Tues then Travel to Hough Friday **Note: They had to flip sites due to softball issue so Mooresville orginally was going to be AT HOUGH n then Hough at Mooresville *

North Iredell is currently 0-2 which is bit of a surprised NI lost to SW Guildford 6-5 and Lost to Forbush 15-10

North Lincoln sweeps West Lincoln - 16 to 3 in game 1 , Game 2: 7-0 : NL will travel to LNC Tues/Fri is at home

Alexander Central is 0-2 : They lost to St Stephens 14-5 and lost to Mcdowell 4-1 . Alexander Central will be HOME vs Freedom on Tues and Then Away @ Hickory

South Iredell spilt there opening week: Losing to Concord 11-1 but winning vs Davie co 5-1 , They will open up conference of play at Statesville then Home vs West Rowan

West Rowan is 1-1 : Lost to Cox Mill 9-6 and Won 3-1 Over South Rowan : West Open Conference of play with a Home Matchup with East Rowan then at South Iredell

East Rowan is 2-0: They won vs North Davidson 9-4 and Won over East Forysth 4-1 : They will open conference of play AT West Rowan and then Away at Carson

Carson is 1-1: They won 10-9 over Davie co but lost to South Rowan 11-2; Carson will opening up conference of play at HOME vs North Iredell then Home vs East Rowan

Mooresville and Hough had a Double Header at Mooresville- Hough won both games 3-0;3-2 respectively

Hough is 4-0 ; Mooresville is 2-2

Crest 11 North Gaston 1
4-0 on the year.

Crest ranked 2nd in maxpreps. Kings Mountain 3rd. They meet up next Tuesday. Should be a good one.

East Rutherford 2 Burns 1

East gets the win in 9 innings. Both starting pitchers were outstanding. Webb for Burns and Bridges for East.

Mooresville has LN this week and more or less could decide who finishes 2nd/3rd as Hough has beaten LN at least 1 time n beat Mooresville 2 times
 
Crest 3 Kings Mountain 2

KM took a 2-1 lead after the first. Crest was able to take the lead back thanks to a Luke Reynolds 2 run homer. Ben Hodge pitched a complete game for Crest.

Crest stays undefeated. This was KM first lose.
 
Union Pines swept Lee 4-3 and 8-6.

Defeated Carson Kelly a NCSU signee on Tuesday. Purvis hit a 3 run HR in the 1st and Hilburn a walk off single in the 7th.

Purvis went 5 IP giving up 1 hit and striking out 10 on Friday.

Crest 10 Cramer 0 in 3 innings. Game called due to storms in area.

Hodge had a no hitter through 3 and led off the game with a HR.
 
Union Pines defeated Triton 11-1 Monday.
Tonight they visit Southern Lee and Friday Southern Lee visits Union Pines.

These two currently occupy 1st and 2nd in the conference standings.

Pinecrest visits Scotland on Thursday with the winner taking control of the conference race.

Union Pines defeats Southern Lee 9-3 behind Purvis’ complete game 3 hitter.

Pinecrest defeated Scotland 12-3.

Brodie Lewis gets the win. Ben Hodge with a grand slam. Tucker McSwain also homered.

Crest held a 2-0 lead going into the bottom of the 6th. NG was able to tie the score. Crest came back and scored 3 to go up 5-2. North Gaston was able to load bases in the bottom of the 7th. Crest walked in 2 runs in to make it 5-4. NG still had the bases loaded with 1 out. NG hit a deep fly to right but the runner at 3rd had gone to far down the line and was unable to tag up. 2 outs now and the bases still loaded. Next hitter bounced back to the pitcher and Crest is able to hold on for the win.
 
When playoff teams are seeded, for example in 3A the ten conference champs will be drawn for seeds 1-10.

Will all 10 teams be in the same hat and have an equal chance at the #1 seed? Or, will there be a hat for undefeated champs, then one loss champs, etc etc?

Does anyone know for sure?

I believe it will be like all the other sports have been this year, a blind draw for the top seeds. Gonna make some interesting early round match-ups like we saw in basketball.

Union Pines clinched at least a share of the conference title with an 18/6 win over Western Harnett.

Pinecrest also clinched at least a share of the conference title with a 10/0 win over Hoke.

Union Pines has two games remaining and Pinecrest one.

North Noore has also had a good season with a 7-4 record.

Jackson Ledbetter with a 3 run HR. Hodge with a solo HR.

Crest ends the regular season 12-0 and Big South Con champs.

Also have a 35 game conference winning streak.

Union Pines defeats Western Harnett 16-6 and clinched the outright Conference title.

Purvis was 4-4 with a HR, Lange and Hilburn also homered and Monaghan hit his first career HR being a walkoff GS.

Congrats Vikings.
