American Legion Baseball Area III Junior Legion playoffs

A few questions about the playoffs for Area III this year...

How many teams qualify?
Where are the games played?
Single elimination?

Additionally, since Mocksville is hosting the state tournament (and is an automatic entry), does that mean that only the Area III champion qualifies (and not the runner-up as well)?

2 from each division
Best of 3, 1st game at higher seed

Mocksville could be 0 for season and they would represent Area III along with Champion.

This is nothing to do with Mocksville, host team should alway be involved, but added as an extra team. Not fair to penalize which ever Area it is by sending only 1 team.

Seniors is the same way.

Thanks Sportsnut for the info. I tend to agree with you. I'm also fine with the host team being included. But at the expense of the runner-up in a 25 team conference? That's a tough pill to swallow.
