I know there were some posted here like 3 weeks ago orvso and those were kinda questionable, but are there any recent ones out that anyone knows of? Thanks
Yes, I'm doing a new run myself every couple of days but keeping it to myself, because 1-it is based on last year's ADM numbers, and 2-it often involves projecting winners of games to be played this week and next week, and a lot of those are close games that could go either way, and I will wait until this week's games get played before risking ruffling any feathers over who might win a regular season game
I will definitely say that it's looking bad for North Davidson....they really need to beat either Salisbury or Ledford to be on the bubble....if they lose both, forget about making itYou are the first one I thought of (actually the only one I thought of) when I was wondering who might do their own version of the projections.
I’ve been kind of rough on highschoolot about their projections (and perhaps that’s why they’re ignoring my advice about Oak Grove’s ADM)... but in the end, I’m fine with projections being less than static. I know they’ll move around. This east/west thing is making me anxious. I really enjoyed going to some eastern games (Southwest Edgecombe) that I would have never made the time to go to if I didn’t have a team in the mix. I guess the same goes for the western side too. I like hosting, but traveling is kind of fun to do too.
I'm sure they will change everything once the ADMs come out at the end of the season. You are the first one I thought of (actually the only one I thought of) when I was wondering who might do their own version of the projections.

Remember HSOT is affiliated with WRAL (Capital Broadcasting), NOT the N&O, those two are separate entities...but what is curious lately is that the guy who used to be the N&O's HS sports guru left the N&O for a different job, but now he has become a contributor to HSOT....N&O definitely Triangle based....HSOT has reached out this year for more coverage of Triad and Charlotte area, in addition to Triangle....my critique of them is that their coverage ratio is about proportional to school enrollment, that is 3A only gets 3/4 as much coverage as 4A...2A only gets about half as much coverage as 4A, 1A might get 1/4 as much coverage as 4A, but in their defense, the bulk of their readers and viewers have more allegiance to 4A schoolsI look forward to the time that they do... maybe by then I’ll just go look at what the NCHSAA puts out just before the playoffs start.
The highschoolot page is so triangle centered that it just doesn’t do all that much for me. I guess its only fair though... the N&O has to serve their base readers.

I don't know about those percentages, but I do remember Tim Steven with the N&O and now he's on WRAL's Football Friday. WRAL has always done a decent job covering all teams down east ov ef te years.Remember HSOT is affiliated with WRAL (Capital Broadcasting), NOT the N&O, those two are separate entities...but what is curious lately is that the guy who used to be the N&O's HS sports guru left the N&O for a different job, but now he has become a contributor to HSOT....N&O definitely Triangle based....HSOT has reached out this year for more coverage of Triad and Charlotte area, in addition to Triangle....my critique of them is that their coverage ratio is about proportional to school enrollment, that is 3A only gets 3/4 as much coverage as 4A...2A only gets about half as much coverage as 4A, 1A might get 1/4 as much coverage as 4A, but in their defense, the bulk of their readers and viewers have more allegiance to 4A schools
Did they ever fix the valve for the sprinklers at southwest edgecombe?
Yes Tim Stevens was with the N&O...It's Nick Stevens on HSOT....I think Nick is Tim's sonI don't know about those percentages, but I do remember Tim Steven with the N&O and now he's on WRAL's Football Friday. WRAL has always done a decent job covering all teams down east ov ef te years.
They only malfunction when Reidsville comes to town.![]()
And about the percentages, I'm mainly talking about their weekly episodes of HSOT Roundtable.....30-40 minutes and the 1A & 2A leagues might get 7-10 minutes combined...and I get it, they have to take care of their most local teams and largest viewing audience firstI don't know about those percentages, but I do remember Tim Steven with the N&O and now he's on WRAL's Football Friday. You’re right Tim was with N&O and Nick’s his sonYes Tim Stevens was with the N&O...It's Nick Stevens on HSOT....I think Nick is Tim's son
