Am I seeing this correctly, that Dudley has given up 15 points this SEASON? How is this possible? I don’t care if their schedule isn’t great. You’re telling me they haven’t given up some garbage touchdowns here or they’re up 30-40 points? 15 points through 11 games in absolutely nuts

I double checked you, looks like you are correct. They have given up 15 points all year. 7 against Page, 6 against Smith, and 2 against E. Guilford-which means the defense has only given up 13. Assuming that Page and Smiths scores werent on D or special teams!

The two touchdowns to Page and Smith happened in garbage time with the 3rd stringers in. Page scored with about 2 minutes left in the game after getting the ball inside the 10 yard line after a bad punt snap by the backup long snapper . Took the pirates 4 plays to score .

Smith scored on the very last play of the game.

Dudley starting defense has yet to give up a touchdown this season .

The safety vs eastern happen after a diving interception got ruled down inside the 1 yard line in the 4th quarter . Then a 1 yard loss ended up in the safety.

that’s impressive! We went to the round 3 game last year at Dudley and had a great time. I know the Panthers are going to be a tough team this year!

That’s absolutely insane. Not once did someone slip and someone break one for 40-50 yards? Lol you’d think there would be some sort of jump ball situation or some kickoff return or punt return, a pick 6, fumble return…. SOMETHING. How do you give up 15 points in 11 games? That’s the type of stat you see from like 1931.
So if Reynolds scores ANY points this week, it’ll be the first points all year on the first team defense?

I can't even wrap my mind around that. I've seen some damn good defensive teams in my many years of watching high school football all over the state, but that's nuts. If for some reason my Warriors make it far enough to play them just scoring a td would be a victory in itself. Lol

The reason is anyone that wants to play football in the city of Greensboro transfers to Dudley.
If that is the case, how was 4A Greensboro Grimsley 11-0, 4A Northern Guilford in North Greensboro 10-1, 4A Northwest Guilford in Northern & Western Greensboro 9-2, 4A Southeast Guilford which school lines comes into Southeast Greensboro and touches Dudley lines is 7-4. Plus 3A Eastern Guilford which comes towards and touches Dudley lines to the East finished at 6-5. Plus 3A Northeast Guilford which touches Dudley from the NE finished 6-5. So if Dudley is grabing all the best Players, then how Grimsley, NWG, NG, NE, EG, SEG all finished with winning records? That's 5 other schools that has teams in the Greensboro City Limits that decent to great?

Most of the transfers among the Guilford County school system is because of academic seeking endeavors. For instance , if one is interested in, lets say goat farming, then one would Google, " Where 'bouts in the Guilford County school system could i learn everything about goat farming. " With the average goat bringing in approximately a grand a day, these putrid smellin' creatures are a pain in the arse until one counts up how many pockets of currency the kudzu eatin' goats have provided. So I'd assume lots of the Greensboro athletes are transferring for the future of their families security blankets and for the future of Guilford County in general.
P.S. The following selection was performed and written by two Dudley graduates, brother and sister Charlie and Inez Fox.
