Cherokee beat north last year in the 2nd round

You're right. I had forgot about that. I know it's been 11 years but I feel this brings that matchup almost full circle. From what I remember that was Cherokees last great season until this one. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hopeing for a 4pm game Saturday but looking more like a 12pm game sense if I am correct Tarboro is about 10 miles out of Chapel Hill down hwy 15-501 and Mount Airy is about 2 & 1/2 hours from Raleigh. Cherokee vs N.Duplin will have the longer trips. I will miss this one as I will be tied up from 9am to 3pm. May get it on my phone but no score posting. I am sure someone will take my place.....

Friday night lights....you are drinking Kool Aid!!! You must be thinking of Carrboro which is pretty close to Chapel Hill. Tarboro on other hand is down east. It is about an hr and 45 min east of CH. It is on other side of Rocky Mount. Mt. Airy is only about an hr and 50 min to Chapel Hill. It is almost the same amount of driving for both town folks.
