Go Red DawgsShould be interesting..Thoughts?
Like most schools, the numbers are down. Discipline issues have been up. Community support has been down. Hopefully, all of this will change under Coach Robertson. Though there may be some short term pain in terms of numbers and wins. But if he is successful in reviving the culture, everything else will take care of itself. How has Thomasville looked the past few seasons? Have they lost a lot of players or something?
7:30Red Dogs by 6....what time is kickoff?
Oh yeah most definitely going to be an adjustment for me to get used to because I prefer the old style of strong defense and a ground and pound run game. This coach does look like he keeps his players in shape and manages the game well which is a welcome sight. I’m just ready for tonight to see how he and the players respond and feed off of each other. This spread kind of offense still concerns me,even though it's more of a run first offense,I guess I'm just having flashbacks of the last time a coach tried it here
Congrats to T-Ville on the win!!I am very pleased with what I saw tonight, considering I need new glasses. I do not think my unofficial stats are really close enough to post. Thanks to all of the younger Red Dog Fans for helping me get numbers.
Each quarter, we improved. I felt a great positive energy happening at Cushwa tonight. Continued hard work will pay huge dividends in the future.
Head Coach Doug Robertson 1-0!
All the best to the Blue Dogs, your D-line is solid.
Go Dogs!
Hey guys just wondering if Warren still comes to the games and has the large Thomasville flag??Congrats to T-Ville on the win!!
Warren does go to most games, though he’s unable to prowl the sidelines and wave the flag. At 77, “Zeke” does his coaching from the row just inside the entrance and is as vocal as ever.Hey guys just wondering if Warren still comes to the games and has the large Thomasville flag??
Amazing indeedWarren does go to most games, though he’s unable to prowl the sidelines and wave the flag. At 77, “Zeke” does his coaching from the row just inside the entrance and is as vocal as ever.
For those games that are a significant distance from home, he sometimes attends the home jayvee game on Thursday. But he much prefers the varsity games. He had to miss the opener due to some eye surgery on Wednesday. But he’ll be back in full force this Friday against WM.
Kudos to AD Steve Bare and some of the conference athletic directors who allow Warren to be driven right up to the stands on the visitors’ side. Wheatmore, East Davidson and Salisbury have been especially helpful.
Thanks for asking. He’s Mr. Thomasville, for sure. Between him and our 103 year old clock operator, Casey Medlin, they have over 120 years of supporting the Bulldogs.
