ADM numbers released

Any clue what the cutoff is for the separation of A To AA in each class?

Can't determent this until we know what teams make the playoffs. Then they can find the medium number, everyone above is AA and everyone
below is A.

All one can do is guess/predict the winners of the games left to be played, but I came up with the cutoff falling between Hertford County (839) and Lincolnton (836), meaning Lincolnton and everyone below would be small. That's with a lot of speculation and guessing, though. Still a lot of games to be played. And many teams in the east still have two games left, making it impossible to predict.

last year cutoff was 855 I think. If that were to be the same Shelby would be small clinton Big, Lincolnton small, E Lincoln big, E Duplin Big, Reidsville small. The small 2a champion will have earned it for sure.

I just looked that very same info up....not what I truly wanted but guess we'll see....

Not that Thomasville's numbers matter in this year's playoff picture, but I found some interesting information in front of me. The school system provides an annual report that includes demographic information. In March, 2015, there were 657 students enrolled at the high school. This year's ADM's show 700. Certainly there can be some fluctuation, but those stats refute the common perception that Thomasville is shrinking toward 1A status.
What does make things complex for Thomasville is that 78 of those students are Latino males, only one or two of whom play football.

Well, OC, could be worst. Check out the situation at Cummings. That once great football program has been absolutely devastated by the influx of Latino students that do not play football. I go through Burlington and Graham frequently on the way to games in Chapel Hill and the streets are dominated by Hispanic businesses. Sign of the times.

I loved going to Thomasville when Reidsville played over there. Always a great game.

Thanks. Hopefully, someday Thomasville will reach a point where we can play Reidsville again. Right now, it wouldn't be a lot of fun for either team. There's some talent there, but so many other ingredients are missing.
