4A All State

[Kicked Off]

Forum Boards have been kind of quiet since state championships ended, with a few exceptions........how about a little speculation on who would be NC 4A All-State (kind of a Forum Fantasy Football team of sorts).

Some of these spots would be HARD to decide, RB for example. We had K McCoy and played against Z White and J Anderson, all 3 are great RBs. Anyway, maybe we can have some fun with it. Merry Christmas!

Harbison and Emmons got the nods at RB, pretty deserving in my opinion. Both were animals this year, especially Harbison in the title game..7 TDs wow lol
Congrats to Xander Gagnon from Catholic for making all state! He will excel at Duke!

Agree. Probably best OL in the state and played nearly every play for SC.

Every All State team will have some kids on it that some believe don't belong there, but nothing we can do about it now.

Any word where he is signing. I was told by a local Florida State and Auburn were at the top of the list.

Chazz Surratt has changed his decision to enter UNC early. The UNC doctors dont want him to have surgery on his elbow and let it heal. He wants to get back with his brother on the basketball court where East Lincoln is again undefeated. He could come back in Feb and break the school record for points. He will enroll in the summer sessions.

Surratt needs to play just Football once he arrives @ UNC. I have seen him play B-Ball on numerous occasions. Let the Hoop dreams go! Mitch Trubisky will be the guy for the next 2 years. Logan Bryd will be hard to compete against while playing basketball. Big difference from playing 2 sports at East Lincoln 2A versus playing 2 sports for the Heels. Good luck with that.

30 years ago and farther back it was doable but with the offenses now the QB needs to be working on his game year around at that level.

I expect Trubisky to do very well his last two seasons. I think sticking it out will pay off for him in the end.

Byrd is a big high school QB.

What is the word on Anthony Ratliff-Williams? Also, Caleb Henderson, in his second year at UNC, played in the Army AA. After Trubisky I think there may be a lot of competition for the next QB.

Ratliff-Williams was moved to WR. They were not going to let Chazz participate in spring practice which is why most enroll early. Chazz is going to be redshirted.

because he had 11 INTs on the year (3rd in the state), and 3 of them were pick sixes.

It's down to Alabama and Florida State. Kid has a very late birthdate and will still be 17 in late summer. Hope they redshirt Dickerson and give him proper time to mature on the mental side. He is very agile for a big man. Has a black belt in martial arts. Can kill a punt but no aim on the ball.

you cant have an all state team without rico dowdle on it id put him against any athlete or running back in the state just my opinion
