My boys at Fairmont gets back on track. It will be us and South Columbus for the
conference title.

Whiteville vs. West Bladen
Whiteville is reeling after a blowout loss to East Bladen. I think they get their first win but will
struggle.

Red Springs @ Harrells Christian
My upset pick. I was told Red Springs' best player was ejected last week, so I am going with
the defensive minded Brill to stop Red Springs and get Harrells the W.

South Robeson @ Swett
Blowout win for 4A Swett against 1A South Rob.

St. Pauls @ East Bladen
I am going to go with East but this could be a good game. St. Pauls is my sleeper pick for
the conference. Don't overlook them.

West Columbus vs. Trask
Trask

South Columbus vs. Loris
South Columbus. They will battle Fairmont for the title.

East Columbus OPEN

Harrell's beating Red Springs? I am 2-0 on predictions so far and I will make it an easy 3-0 with RS blowing out Harrell's. Also will take West Bladen over Whiteville and east bladen big over st.pauls. WB is the best team I have seen this season, although I will admit I have not seen Clinton/WRH yet. I agree that conference title will be decided when SC and Fairmont play, that will be a huge game. Can't wait!

Fairmont @ Ashley -
Jeff Turner is turning things around at Ashley, while Fairmont has been giving up a lot points in their first two games although they played only 4A schools so far .... Ashley is 4A. Ashley wins.

Whiteville vs. West Bladen -
Whiteville has lost a lot from last year's team and hasn't looked like themselves so far this year. With that being said ... The Wolfpack should win this one.

Red Springs @ Harrells Christian -
Red Springs is more athletic than Harrells, but the Red Devils are undisciplined. Brill is a good coach, but has a small team with kids that play hard though. Brill won't have enough for Red Springs. Red Springs in a tough fight.


South Robeson @ Swett -
It's been the same story for awhile at South Rob for the past several years and there appears to be no hope on the horizon. Coach Sherman has the Rams improving and it has shown this season already. Swett runs away with this one


St. Pauls @ East Bladen -
East Bladen is down this year from teams of the past couple of seasons, but still have athletes. St. Pauls is a work in progress with not a lot on the roster. St. Pauls is not a sleeper team in the Three Rivers and will probably win just two more the rest of the season (South Rob & E. Columbus). East Bladen wins by at least two .... Maybe three TDs


West Columbus vs. Trask -
West Columbus doesn't have a lot on the field, but they play hard. Trask is off to their best start in a long time and beat 3A Topsail in the first week. Trask will stay undefeated.


South Columbus vs. Loris -
Don't know much about Loris, but I do know this is a big game. South Columbus has impressed me so far this year and loss to a good West Brunswick team last week. Coach Dove has Stallions going in the right direction and wins this rivalry game


East Columbus OPEN -
It's a old joke, but it's true with East Columbus ... They win a close one this week

Wing-T I hope the kid OK too. Loris and SC have always had good games to watch. If Fairmont's QB is having problems as stated on here,they could be in trouble with conf.
If a running team chews up clock,keeps ball from them with a weak Defense they have it could be a long night. SC runs a lot chews up clock and gets in the end zone is why I like them to win conf. this year. But anything can happen.
WB will not be push over for Whiteville Friday. They are very fast,good QB and well coached. Whiteville is also. I do think Whiteville needs this game Friday or players could start doubting themselves. They have a good West Brunswick team waiting 2 weeks also. I would hate to see Pack go 0-4 this year.

I was totally off last week with Fairmont. I thought they would give CF a battle. I watched Ashley play against South Brunswick and they were just ok. I think Fairmont beats Ashley if they can get the offense rolling.

I don't think Whiteville can beat WB. WB wins against a confused Whiteville team.

Red Springs plays a Christian Academy? Geez. They better win.

South Rob gets killed by a very big Swett school.

EB will have continuous running clock against SP

WC will lose against Trask.

South should pull out a big win and build a lot of confidence against Loris.

I saw the WB and WC game. It was never a game. They are very quick, but then again I understand that we may not be the quickest team in the world. They looked really good against us, but we have a long way to go wing t. I think Whiteville will win in a close game.

I have heard that Fairmont is still really talented at the skill position, but that they have very little experience and strength up front. Maybe that explains why the defense is giving up so many points and Fairmont is not scoring as much. I am not shocked by the score tonight.

Once again I was wayyyyy off with Fairmont and even further off with Whiteville. Looks like the pack is putting something good together but they will face a very tough match this week with West Brunswick. Big, strong and fast.

I know Fairmont is playing big schools but I thought their offense would or could have put more points on the board. I know they are young on Defense also. I really don't know.
