Some decent games this week in the East. Personally, I think 3 of them could be blow outs. Let's get right to it.

#8 Nash Central (7-5) at #1 Princeton (11-0)

The #1 seed Princeton was pushed to their limit by the Vikings of Kinston last week while Nash Central won in a defensive battle. I think Princeton gets back on track this week and wins easily.

Princeton by 14

#5 St. Pauls (10-0) at #4 Whiteville (11-0)

The only game in the East that features 2 unbeaten teams. St. Pauls pulled out a great win in OT last week. Whiteville made me a believer after the beatdown the put on James Kenan last week. If their defense plays the same way, this one might not be close. I'll take the 'Ville.

W-ville by 14

#11 Washington (10-2) at #3 Northeastern (11-0)

Northeastern is just too strong for the Pam Pack. Another run away game for NE in the making.

NE by 21

#10 Wallace-Rose Hill (10-2) at #2 East Duplin (11-1)

Possibly the most even game in the 2A East this week, this game fits the bill to be a great one. Both teams looked great against their 2nd round opponents. Expect record setting attendance and some hard-nosed football. When these two meet earlier in the year to decide the winner of the ECC, ED escaped with a 3 point win. I expect this one to be just as close as both teams will be more than prepared for this one.

ED by 7

Good luck to all teams! Let's hear some predictions!

Really don't care about the other games, just focused on Wrh just as the ED players and Coaching staff are. Go Big Blue!!!

I know next to nothing on the east...just my predictions based on what I see on paper and some film. Good Luck this week!

These look right Grizz. I don’t see ED beating Wrh again, although I hope they do so we can play in Duplin County

Think ne beats both
Yes sir I agree with you. I’m outnumbered on these forums though so I don’t always post what I think. Many times a put up complimentary posts even though I know we’re a far superior team. I know that with 100% certainty that our coaches want to play in Duplin County. We don’t want to host the game here. ED or Wrh, it doesn’t matter who we play. They are both Duplin County teams and the better one will win this Friday night. Then we’ll get to play the best team in Duplin County and hopefully in Duplin County.

I understand, I’m the same way bro.

Goobs don't want zero DC ball. He been there and got beat many times lol
I’ve never been there and since I’ve been following NE football I can only recall one time that we’ve played a team from Duplin. In 2017 we lost to Wrh in EC and that’s the only one that I know of. I’m sure there’s more but I don’t know of them. People probably don’t believe me but I can’t be more truthful when I say that we welcome the opportunity to play at Duplin County. Should be a good game between Wrh/Ed, I just think Wrh will be hard to beat twice

I think ur right about it being hard to beat wrh twice. The best team will win and either team is gonna be tough for yal if the team that played currituck shows up. Imo, and we all know what opinions are like east duplin is better defensively but i think we are better on offense. But either team will be the toughest test yal have had this yr. Don't overlook ur game Friday night, although i think yal win big

Can’t wait to see the result of this game! Hoping it goes to the wire! I’ll be glued!😉

I tell what Goob I'm going to see your Eagles either way. If ED wins of course I will see them but if Wallace wins I planning on going to the other side of the world to see that too. As long as I can get off work in time

Team no one should want to play right now is Whiteville. Idk what they are putting in the water over there but whoa, their team is good.
Over night too! We all know about Whitevilles’ history…..I got to go back and look at the last 5 or 10 years. I do recall they played someone really tough in the playoffs recently. Was that in the spring or 19?
Anyway….they seem to be really good!…I noticed their SOS is the weakest among the remaining 2a Playoff teams….but they are taking care of business like they should!
I’m scratching my head….way over here!

You must be a new Northeastern fan. East Duplin had a home and home with the Eagles and beat them both times. 39-15 & 30-20. If memory serves this was around 2012-13

Not that these two games will have any bearing on a potential fourth round matchup, should it take place. But there is a history.

This is a far cry from "We have a very tough Pam Pack team to contend with"

That’s close to the time when I started following. I’d have to look up the year but it was the year we lost to Washington in the eastern finals. The following year I started following these forums
