Thanks You for the comment. I've been lucky enough in my years covering NCAL that I've made friends across the state. The help comes from my sources! I've only missed a couple state tournament. It's so hard to find out across the state to keep up with all the Areas.

Good to see some teams still getting high numbers of games in a season. The kids get so much better playing games and for something other than the guy in the mirror. Love to still see an environment where kids can thrive.

This is the reason American Legion is the best. The most pure form of baseball.

How's the ranked teams doing? The final 4 teams left in the 2023 NCAL State Baseball
tournament are ranked teams: #1 Rowan County, #2 High Point, #3 Fuquay-Varina, and #7
Wayne County. Fuquay-Varina is undefeated while Rowan County, High Point, and Wayne County
have 1 loss.

Very, very interesting opening day results at the Southeast Regional. I can't remember the last time (if any) both Post 45 and the North Carolina champ lost on the first day. As a result, both teams play tomorrow morning. That'll be weird.

I noticed the VA team was 18-1 and they won opening round game against a strong Fla, team 19-1 now.
