This years defense didn’t have a true Linebacker. Linebackers are the QB of the defense.

Yeah I agree, jd mccain can grow into that. Defense was good with rankin and Tamir Johnson as the outstanding players. Secondary was excellent

McCain will be outstanding this fall.

And Tamir Johnson should be able to suit up as well. He had only a partial ACL tear and his rehab should be complete by the time the season starts.
