Nawww, they only really have one guy that posts on here and even though he is a huge homer its not them.
I guess you are fishing for bites. LOL. Good preseason poll for SWO. Flying under the radar once again, baby!!! Just like the last 2 years and both of those finished in the Eastern Finals. I've yet to see a preseason champ trophy in anyone's trophy case. GO STALLIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like you give a damn about where the others are positioned. Why not just be real with it and ask, “Why is Shelby no.1?”. You can question that if you want, but teams, especially 2A teams, are going to get their doors blown off this season. We have hella firepower returning, both offensively and defensively. Outside of current NC State Wolfpack, Jalen Scott, our best players on last season’s team were mostly juniors and sophomores. And, remember this name while you’re at it, rising sophomore,

I was thinking the same thing with Reidsville. I really think the Shelby and Reidsville would be special this year. Of course games have to be played.
After ya'll lose to AC Reynolds, Crest, and Kings Mtn and drop to the bottom of the list(or off the list), I will look out for more of those sophomores against 2A competition on your schedule, if this coach continues that tradition of putting the JV players in the 2A games like you usually do. The underclassmen will be well prepared when ya'll make the 4th round again with 3 losses.
I know why Shelby is #1, they are a defending champion with a good nucleus returning. It was either the Rams or Lions, but could only be one. Well, if there was an actual vote held there could be a tie, but you get my points.
I also think 2A will be more competitive around the state than people think. Should be an exciting year.
Who knows, man, this is a very possible scenario, and despite you not being a Shelby fan, you have been to hella Shelby games, because you know too much, that underclassmen detail was impressive. I’m very concerned about KM and Crest. I think this Shelby team can be special, but like my man said earlier, “games have to be played”.

Out East, I think Clinton is a dark horse. I expect them to make some noise out there. I’ve seen what a great returning linebacker can do for a team, defensively, galvanize the troops. On the outside looking in, their offense has holes to fill, though.

Nope, not you either. Although you will always benefit from playing in that conference. Yes, I know "we cant control what conference we are in" but facts are facts. Kudos to your non conference schedule though. Jacksonville, WRH and East Duplin should be tough games. White Oak, maybe not. Still will be a good early gauge.
Good assessment. I think Clinton, like East Duplin will be running back by committee this year. We should have a large and solid O-line this year. Shelby should be stacked, as per usual. Hope you guys out west have a great season!
I like East Bladen as a sleeper team in the 2A East not showing up in alot of preseason polls but i believe they will be a contender come November....Robbie Priest is a heck of a coach aswell
Appreciate that i hope so....we all know they got the top 2 right on the money Shelby is going to be tough as always....heard yall had like 120 kids out for JV and Varsity geesh for a 2A school thats awesome
Don't give 2a to Reidsville yet. Bulldogs might have something to say about it. I don't think I have ever seen as many athletes at WRH. From what I'm hearing we're loaded at LB. I know d line strong.
