Thoughts and opinions on the conference for 2018. Try to keep the blinders off and give objective insight.....GO!

No dominate team in this conference, just few solid teams. 1- Pisgah has more back, but lack team speed to be state contender
2- hendersonville who will be the quarterback, maybe the new transfer
3 - Franklin lost a lot from last season, never count them out.
4- east henderson lot back from last season, best athlete in conf at quarterback.
5_brevard lot of guys back will fight east for 4 th
6- Smokey new coach will take some time

I think East QB leaving. So unless they have someone else? I see them fighting for last in conference. I think Pisgah is the heavy favorite. Franklin, Hendersonville 2nd and third. Not sure what Smokey has. Brevard lost their skill players. They have no line and lost a big lineman to Rosman, as a transfer. So that won't help. I look for Smokey, Brevard and East battling for last 3 spots in conference.
I think Pisgah , Franklin Hendersonville, brevard smokey and east. Brevard’s main concern will be on their line , receivers and qb return as well as a cpl rb’s
Pisgah will have much more team speed this year. Is it enough to compete at the state level, not sure yet. Lots of offensive weapons, line play is key. Defense could be really good, especially against the run.

As far as Franklin goes, we lost a bunch. We always have something in the pipeline, but it's going to take some time to come together I'd say. We lost 4/5 of an O-line (although the one coming back is impressive), pretty good experienced QB, and two good RBs. The betting man says that Murphy beats us this year, finally, and Asheville will be an iffy game in The Pit.

Not a Franklin Fan, but you guys will roll Asheville. As for Murphy, you guys have that Wing T figured out.
That's basically word for word the situation Murphy is in. Only difference is Murphy only lost one good RB and the QB they lost wasn't pretty good, he was very good. Murphy would've had two coming back on the o-line but had one quit, started at linebacker too.
What have you done with WIR? Haven't heard him brag any this year...?
Hendersonville is my pick. Pisgah is my 2nd choice. Franklin, Brevard, and East Henderson will battle for 3rd. Smoky will be up in the air this year.

The EH "qb" is now at Asheville School, (this week). I saw him as a freshman in a JV game with Brevard and wondered how in the world someone with that potential and raw athleticism was down on JV's. Coming up on what is now his 4th school, there must be something else involved because he was a man among boys that evening. Brevard lost but it wasn't for the lack of trying.
Franklin had a back up RB who did just fine when he filled in early last season when Kloppel was suspended . I believe he is back.

If that EH QB is at Asheville School, I doubt it's for football reasons. They don't have an athletic system like Christ School and their team isn't very good. It's more of an academic and college prep school than an athletic institution, not exactly a hotbed for football recruits.

We got upset in the playoffs those years. Be on the lookout 2A, the Bears arent 't getting upset in the playoffs this year.
This conf is wide open, no dominate team. Would not be shook Franklin wins it, Hendo is the only team that has speed, but they lost all their d- line that hurts. Pisgah has almost everything back, plus good looking jv coming up. Any of those 3 teams can win the conf.

Favorite to win the conference I will give you maybe but state championship is just nonsense.
I realize it’s probably a waste to even respond to your ridiculous inflammatory comment about us not wanting none, but pisgah could beat Asheville the next 10 meetings in a row and still not be leading the head to head series. So maybe you guys don’t want none.
