A big congratulations to Lincoln Charter School on winning the 1A boys title over Kestrel Heights 97-75.
The Lincolnton radio commentator said this is the first basketball title won by a Lincoln County School.
I heard Rock Springs High School won a boys title and the Lincolnton girls had won a title, both happening many years ago. I'm not sure how the champion was determined, then. I seriously doubt if it's the same format used, today. Also, I'm thinking East Lincoln won a girls title in the early 70's.
