Glad Bessemer City, Cherryville, Highland Tech, Thomas Jefferson, etc. got their all football conference, since 2 schools in their proposed conference for other sports do not play football. That football only league will pretty much be what it is now.

I'm surprised the Rutherford County schools (RS, East and Chase) are still included with Shelby, South Point and East Gaston in 2A Conference E. That will be a brutal football conference! Also, glad to see Polk stay in the Western Highlands 1A with Mitchell and Avery.

Shelby and South Point will be battling for the conference every year.

RS should be the strongest 2A program out of Rutherford County for the next few years but I agree that they will have a difficult time with Shelby and South Point.
