1A Round 3.

CSOD by 14 (looks like winner of R-ville/Murphy will have a tough game ahead)

not going to pick a winner but if Murphy has another game with 10+ penalities for 100+ yards (like tonight) against Robbinsville, they will lose by multiple scores

I agree mbdfan but I will cut Murphy some slack tonight. I saw at least three penalties that should have been called on Rosman (committed right in front of an official) but were not. Two were horse collars and one was a late hit. It just seems to me like the officials watch Murphy just a little bit closer than their opponents most of the time. Can't do anything about it though. It is what it is and I doubt it will change this season.

don't they bring in officials from other areas starting with th 3rd round? if so, gives me a little hope

as for the game, Murphy will have to play near mistake free to have a chance imho. and probably wouldn't hurt to give #42 a few more touches next week.

I thought officials were brought in from other areas for all playoff games so I'm not sure. But you're right about next week. Murphy will have to play perfect because you know Robbinsville will. It seems like they make mistakes against everyone but Murphy lol. I'm just happy to see another big game the day after Thanksgiving, win or lose. It's a long time until August.

If TJ plays defense like the last three weeks don't shortsale that bunch. 11 point loss at home in the regular season , I'll take 14 @ NMeck next Friday.

TJA could upset CSOD.
Don't see them beat Robbinsville or Murphy. I hope TJA wins this Friday.

I can easily see TJ winning next week. The drive for them will be lots shorter. CSOD is well coached and plays a very disciplined game but they can not beat Robbinsville or Murphy. We didn't do the job but we beat ourselves. It would have been close but it should have been at least 14 to 0 at halftime. We were on the one and inside the 10 and left with no points. Good luck to whoever represents the SMC

Which ever team plays CSOD, just put everyone on the line and play smash mouth football. It plays in Robbinsville's favor with their type of offense. CSOD has no size on the line. If we could have run something other than the spread we could have just grounded it down the field. Just tighten your gaps on the OL And go right at them

I'm sure that calls were missed on Rosman. But I saw stupid ones after the play by Murphy. Those are 100 percent on Murphy. They can fix them

Whoever has to travel to CSOD will be glad to hear that the officiating was the best I've seen in YEARs. Wasn't even a issue. Sure, they were a few missed calls. Very few, but it was so nice to not have a flag feast like we are accustomed to in the SMC. They were no mysterious penalties thrown just to kill a drive, if you all know what I Mean

I wasn't good at TJ Friday night at all. Thank goodness all it did was drag the game out, not change the outcome.

I always Loved When Albemarle played on the Friday after Thanksgiving but I always worried about Them eating to much and not having Their Head in the game

6 years in a row now that the Murphy Bulldogs have played on Thanksgiving week and 7 of the last 8......Holiday tradition in Bulldog Country

Will the ticket gate be open before 6:00 this friday? I know we stood in line an hour last year, and when it opened at 6 the line was extremely long.

TJCA just couldn't overcome 4 YES 4,..2nd half turnovers. Pround of this team and Coach Cash . 33-28 CSD

Any key injuries for CSOD?
Also congrats to TJ on another good season.
This will be the first road playoffs game for my Black Knights going all the way back to 2012. Eight home playoff games in a row. Now we have to travel outside BIG OAKS and play for a Western Title.
